This is a re-release of a portion of recordings by Adam Holzman completed in the spring of 1991. Each piece is a premiere either by virtual of the actual performance of the piece in the original release OR it is the first time it has been performed on classical guitar.

The pieces included in this release are The Woods So Wild by William Byrd, J.S. Bachs Cello Suite No 3 and Mauro Giulianis Sonatina in D.

There are four sections, the tracks, personal notes from the artist and credits, and a way to request additional material from the artist.

For more than twenty years, Adam Holzman, recording artist, concert performer, soloist and educator, has been at the forefront of a generation of guitarists. Born in New York City in 1960 Adam began the guitar at the age of 7 as a student of his older brother Bruce and continued his private study with Albert Valdes Blain and Eliot Fisk. He returned to work with his older brother Bruce Holzman at Florida State University where he received his Musical Degrees. In addition he studied in the master classes of Oscar Ghiglia in Siena at the Academia Musicale de Chigiana and at the Aspen music festival. Twice he was chosen to perform in the historic master classes of the legendary Andres Segovia.
In 2013 he performed on the Segovia tribute concert at the 92nd Street Y in NY along with Benjamin Verdery, Oscar Ghiglia, Eliot Fisk, Martha Masters and Richard Savino in celebration of Segovia 120th birthday.
